Delivery on Pikbon
The shop delivers itself or uses a driver. Price and timing are agreed together: Pikbon does not set or collect them.
Delivery is handled between the shop, the driver and you. Price and timing are agreed together. Pikbon does not set or collect them.
How it works
- You write your address (city, neighbourhood) when you order. Pikbon uses no automatic geolocation.
- The shop delivers itself, or uses a driver.
- The shop sees where the delivery stands: We're looking for a driver, A driver is assigned, The driver has picked up the parcel, Delivered, or The delivery failed.
- When you have your order, tap I received my order. The shop can also tap Mark as delivered. The order becomes “Delivered”.
Price and timing
- Pikbon sets neither the price nor the timing. You agree them with the driver or the shop.
- Agree from the first contact, in the Pikbon messaging. You keep a written record.
For sellers and drivers
- The driver signs up on Pikbon. See “How do I become a Pikbon driver?”.
- The seller can pick a fixed partner for all orders, or offer each order to the available drivers.
- The delivery price is agreed between the driver and the seller.
Example
You order shoes. The seller tells you “delivery 1,000 FCFA, tomorrow morning” in the messaging. You agree. When you receive your order, you tap I received my order. These figures are an example: each shop and each driver decide their own.
