# Delete my Pikbon account

> Settings, My account and data, at the very bottom: Delete my account. It is permanent. An order or delivery in progress blocks deletion.

Tap **Settings**, then **My account and data**. At the very bottom, tap **Delete my account**. It is permanent: you will not be able to sign in to this account again.

## Before you start

- You cannot delete your account with an order in progress. Wait until it is completed.
- Are you a driver? Finish your delivery in progress first.
- Want a copy of your data? Tap **Export my data** first.

## Steps

1. Open your Profile.
2. Tap **Settings**.
3. Tap **My account and data**.
4. Scroll to the very bottom of the screen.
5. Tap **Delete my account** (small grey text).
6. Read the message that appears.
7. Type DELETE in the field.
8. Tap **Delete permanently**.

## What happens

- Your name, phone number and photo are erased.
- If you have a shop, it and its products are deleted. Nothing can be recovered.
- Your past orders stay, with no link to your identity.
- You can no longer sign in to this account. Nothing can be undone.

## If it does not work

- The message says “You have an order in progress”: wait until it is completed, then try again.
- The message says “You have a delivery in progress as a driver”: finish it, then try again.
- The **Delete permanently** button stays grey: type DELETE in capital letters, with no other word.

## Frequently asked questions

### I cannot find the button to delete my account.

Open Settings, then “My account and data”. The button is at the very bottom, in small grey text.

### Can I get my account back afterwards?

No. Deletion is permanent. You will not be able to sign in to this account again.

### Do my past orders disappear?

No. They stay for accounting reasons, but they are no longer linked to your identity.
