How do I add a voice message to my product?

Speak to present your product: buyers listen to you on the product page. Handy if you write little. Your phone may also write what you say.

While publishing, at the The name step, tap Record a voice note and speak. Buyers listen to you on the product page.

Before you start

• Go to a quiet place.
• Allow the microphone when your phone asks.

Steps

1. Tap Publish and go on to the The name step.
2. Tap Record a voice note.
3. Speak: say what you sell, its condition, the price, the size or the colour.
4. Tap the green square to stop.
5. Check that you see Voice note recorded.
6. Tap Publish.

If you want to start again

• Tap Delete, then record a new voice note.

What the buyer sees

• A “Seller's voice message” player under the photos.
• If you wrote no description, the page invites the buyer to listen to your voice note.

Text written from your voice

• Depending on your phone, what you say may also be written in the description.
• Pikbon tells you: “Your voice was written into the description. Read it and fix it if needed.”
• This text may contain mistakes. It does not work in every language.
• The buyer is told that this text comes from your voice.

If it doesn't work

• The microphone doesn't work? Check that your browser is allowed to use the microphone, then try again.
• You see “The recording could not be uploaded, please try again.”? Check your connection, then record again.

Is the voice message required?

No. You can publish without a voice note and without a description.

Which language can I speak?

Any language you like. The automatic writing does not work in every language.
